Principal Investigator
Kevin P. Darby, Ph.D.
Kevin is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Florida Atlantic University. He received his Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from The Ohio State University in 2017 before completing a postdoctoral position at the University of Virginia in 2022. His recent research has focused on associative memory and metacognitive processes in children, young adults, and older adults. His broader interests include the dynamic processes of episodic memory encoding and retrieval, how they interact with attention and metacognition, and how they change across the lifespan. When he’s not working on computational models or making fun plots, you can find him spending time with his family or crafting, cooking, or baking. He is very interested in welcoming new graduate students into the lab beginning in Fall 2025.
